Hyland Custom Interior and Design began in 1996 located at the time in Charleston, South Carolina. We moved back to our hometown Buckfield, Maine in 2019, with a dream to work with people in our community that we love. The owner first entered the industry with his own hard work at the age of 18 and with his determination to learn all building styles and master craftsmanship of specialty designs. Then moving on to interior trim carpentry as well as building homes from the foundation to roof and being involved with the planning stage to completion. Eventually creating what we now call Hyland Custom Interior and Design, a full-service building firm. We agree that home building isn't just a business it's his craft and passion something this owner has.
