Heatek Energy LLC of Auburn provides installations of American made wood chip and wood pellet boilers. Founded by Rick and Evan Jones, Heatek Energy LLC provides distribution and installation of biomass boilers, and has experience in the service and support of large biomass heating systems. As owner of Jones Associates, Inc., Rick has over 25 years of experience in forestry, land use consulting and project management. With a B.S. in Wood Technology as well as Forest Utilization, he has long wanted to start a business which would assist Mainers in utilizing natural resources as a local heating source. When his son Evan graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, it seemed like the perfect time to combine their skills and start a biomass heating systems business. Heatek Energy carries two product lines resulting in choices for the client which cover all application sizes, from residential homes to large facilities. Evoworld® wood pellet and wood chip biomass heating systems are manufactured in Troy, New York, at the site of the venerable Troy Boiler Works, an ASME Code fabrication facility founded in 1863. The unit designs were perfected in Europe, under strict environmental standards, by Evoworld of Austria. Blue Flame Stoker boilers, manufactured in Canada, offer completely automated operation for large scale biomass heating systems or process heating plants with boiler outputs starting at 400kW (1,360,000 BTU/hr) up to 4,500kW (15,500,000 BTU/hr).
