The entire Board of Directors and John Williams, Executive Director, of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce, would like to express our gratitude for the life of Bob Bahre.

Bob's profound impact on the communities of the Oxford Hills during his long life is, without question, one of the reasons the towns and the businesses along with the schools, churches and organizations, profit and non-profit, have been able to sustain, grow and prosper.

Much of this has had to do with Bob's visionary outlook on life. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was impossible, and he proved it time and again. His entrepreneurial spirit made him one of the most successful developers in the world and the Oxford Casino, Oxford Plains Speedway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway have become iconic destinations, due in part to that vision.

In the many years I have known him and worked with him, both through the Chamber and in my broadcasting of motor sports racing I have never met, and probably never will again, anyone that was able to get my attention quicker than Bob!

His love for family and for his friends has always been palpable and our hearts go out to Sandy, Gary and Terry during this difficult time. My hope is that we will celebrate his extraordinary life by making our communities, continuously, a place where families and businesses continue to thrive together.

With Sincere thanks,

John Williams
