Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine

The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine (CRCWM) first opened its doors in 2015 and continues to grow today. CRCWM embraces anyone affected by cancer, in a community that offers hope and caring through support, education and concepts in healthy living. We have achieved our mission, for the past two years, by opening a one-room center in Norway where anyone impacted by cancer may meet, participate in a wide variety of wellness programs and find the support they need as they deal with the challenges of cancer. CRCWM is a comforting and caring place to go to receive information, support and perspective after a cancer diagnosis, whether in pre-treatment, treatment or post-treatment. It is also a place for caregivers or friends to come and find out how they can help a loved one. We strive to help the person diagnosed with cancer transition from illness to wellness. We have served more than 250 people affected by cancer in Western Maine since our inception and clients are beaming with praise for this small organization that is making a big impact on people whose lives are affected by cancer, whether a survivor or a caregiver.
