Are you caring for a family member with dementia?
SeniorsPlus is facilitating a 12-hour class taken over a 6-week period for unpaid family caregivers of people with dementia living in the community. Learn strategies that work, in a supportive class with other caregivers like you.
• Attitudes - Develop a sense of confidence in caregiving and learn how to care for yourself.
• Skills - Learn tips and strategies for interacting and communicating with the person and how to understand and manage challenging behaviors.
• Knowledge - Learn what dementia is and how it affects the person and his/her
Each two-hour workshop session builds on the one prior. It is important to plan to attend all six classes. There is no charge. Pre-registration is required. Call 1-800-427-1241 to reserve your seat.
