Many woodland owners in Maine have forgotten apple trees that are struggling to survive. Though many of these trees are of wild origin and may not be enjoyable to humans for food, there is a diverse amount of wildlife that would welcome the chance for these apples! If you would like to learn some tips on how to make these trees prosper please join us at Colebrook Farm, 783 Paris Hill Road, South Paris (04281). Apple tree enthusiast Joe Dembeck will discuss methods and tools used to revive and manage them. Feel free to bring your own pruning equipment if you like. Please dress for the weather.
